WaveNest is a modular optical distribution system purpose-built for high-channel-count digital audio, including MADI, AES10, AES67, Ravenna, and other fiber-capable protocols. Using 12-fiber MTP/MPO trunks, WaveNest carries 6 full duplex digital audio links over a single optical cable, dramatically reducing cabling while enabling scalable, low-latency routing.
Each system includes a master unit and multiple NestLeaf receiver units. Inside each NestLeaf, fibers are fusion spliced to LC connectors, allowing two duplex audio links to be dropped locally while the remaining fibers pass through to downstream units. This creates a passive optical drop/tap topology — no routers, no patch panels, no signal loss.
WaveNest is compatible with any multimode fiber–equipped device, including MADI interfaces, digital consoles, networked audio I/O, and DSP routers. With zero power requirements, rugged build, and seamless integration, it’s perfectly suited for touring setups, broadcast infrastructure, and large-scale live events.
